Each month will have a one of a kind experience exploring our river basin with unique programming from our Riverkeeper, Basin Managers, industry experts, and private property owners and historians! Learn about our basin's unique animals, plants, features, struggles and areas of opportunity each month of 2024. See how the river and its stories change from the mountains of North Carolina to the low country of South Carolina!

The Catawba-Wateree River Basin encompasses 26 counties, 8900 miles of waterways, 5000 square miles of land and a 225 mile stretch of continuous river from Lake James in NC to Lake Marion in SC.
